I loved this book. First, the author is an FIU Alumni, just like me and the story is based in Miami, where I live.
Daniela Ruiz’s (“Dani”) heart is broken by her boyfriend Rick after they have been living together for 6 months. There is never a nice way to break up, but Rick is the ultimate arrogant a_ _hole. Dani hides behind her Kindle and book boyfriends and after two years of not dating, her friends do an intervention to get her out. Lo and behold she meets Liam, HOT!! firefighter, HOT!! lover, sweet, considerate and loving. Their romance blossoms and it’s beautiful. Rick comes back into the picture and wants Dani back. But, he hasn’t changed much, he is still an arrogant a_ _hole. He has his likable moments. Dani loves Liam, but she needs to make a decision. One of the things I love about this story is that it is told from three different POVs, Dani, Rick and Liam. All the characters in this book are well balanced and their roles are important without overpowering the main characters.
This is a good, sweet and very romantic read.
